After completing his orthopedic surgery residency training at Cedars Sinai Medical Center (#2 orthopedic hospital in the US), Dr. NaPier completed a comprehensive spine surgical fellowship at Harvard University, where he learned advanced techniques from expert surgeons at Massachusetts General Hospital & Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

He is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and was named to the North American Spine Society’s top 20 spine surgeons under age 40 for his commitment to innovation, education and excellence in patient care. Click here to read more!

Dr. NaPier Publishes Prone Transpsoas Technique and Results in North American Spine Society Journal

Sept 28 2023. Dr. NaPier’s manuscript, Prone Transpsoas Lateral Interbody Fusion (PTP LIF) with Anterior Docking: Preliminary functional and radiographic outcomes, was published in North American Spine Society (NASS) Journal . This is the largest, single-surgeon case series with radiographic and functional outcomes to date. In the article, Dr. NaPier describes his technique and the exciting improvements in spinal alignment, postoperative pain, and function experienced by his patients.
